About Us

Ed Leskiewicz was born and raised in Claremont, New Hampshire. He attended Stevens High School and started welding at the age of 13. Ed enjoyed working with his hands and had a knack for welding.  He did auto body work from 1973 to 1977. In 1977 he started welding at Garrison Stove Works in Claremont. In 1978 and 79  Ed took on a job at Tri State Timberland in Hartland, Vermont in maintenance and welding. At that point he knew what he wanted to do and that was Blacksmithing. He attended Blacksmithing School in Lebanon, New Hampshire. After completing schooling he opened Stone House Forge in the Fall of 1979.
